Yet Another Attempt
Haven Intermediate, 2015
I know it. When my voice reaches out and beyond the glass wall, I will return to where I once was. All I can do is keep trying. This is yet another attempt.
Lost I run through wastelands
This strange odd world has tired my mind and soul
I′m longing to go home
But my heart is wayward
Crossroads ahead
All leading to the same end
I wanted to see all
Life had for me in store
A victim to my fate
Now I stand here and wait
In hopes that you will hear me
Through this blurry Glass Wall
Broken million times
Still I can't stand to see the fall
Yet another attempt
To see this through to the end
And turn sounds to light
And banish this dark night
And clear the mist that surrounds
This eternal Glass Wall
Broken million times
Still I can′t stand to see the fall
Close your eyes and fly

Haven Intermediate. Here I sit between the pillars that bind together the dimensions, here I drift among stretched timelines. I remember, briefly, where I am and what I have been through, before existence pauses for a split second and resets to me sitting down on the single throne that exists in the center of this mysterious room. As long as I remember, I am content.
Soon I’ll be home again.
